Grilled summer stone fruit
serves 6
1kg mixed summer stone fruit (e.g. plums, apricots, nectarines, peaches, cherries)
1/2 cup icing sugar
optional: 2-3 tbsp liqueur
Halve stone fruits and remove stones (leave cherries whole if you are using them).
Place cut side up in a roasting dish.
Sift icing sugar evenly over fruit.
Place under a hot grill about 10am from the heat source.
Grill until bubbling and starting to caramelise, 8-10 minutes.
Drizzle over liqueur (if using).
